Unlike the SYNCx site as a whole, this page is for American users and others who understand the regrettable connection of American patriotism and American civil religion. SYNC is about the Messiah, Jesus. American civil religion is about "God", vaguely conceived. SYNC is still patriotic, but in a drastically different way than civil religion.
